The Session comprises elected members of the church (called Elders) who are “responsible for the supervision and oversight of all associations connected with the congregation.” It is their job, together with the Minister, to determine the Spiritual direction for the congregation and to ensure that all aspects of congregational life, contribute to its spiritual maturity, growth and well-being. The various roles of each Session member are outlined below:
